I read somewhere that "comics take less braincells to read than stories". As in the written kind. Which, if you'll excuse me, is bullshit, quite honestly. Okay, so you have a lot of people who are the "WAI WAI! KAWAII~~~ ^___^~~~*** :3 XD XD" (AKA "emiko") type, and you've got your generic comics. But the same is true about fiction. I mean, it's obnoxious to say fiction is so much more sophisticated than comics. Comics are just a hybrid of art forms.... what about all the great, psychotic and/or wierd comics out there like Demonology 101, anyhting by Mark Sachs, anything by my friend Willy (I forget what you go by -_-;;), Winter, Paris is Burning (is that the title, I don't have the link...?), anything by Locke, anything by Mal....? Or BTLC for that matter, which 99% of hte people i've spoken to simply do not understand? Not to say that it's deep or meaningful particularly. It's mostly just confusing.
